PP FOIL

WHAT IS PP (POLYPROPYLENE)?

It is a thermoplastic obtained by polymerization of PolyPropylene monomer, briefly called PP. It has a semi-crystalline structure with a high molecular weight. These properties, which it naturally possesses due to its semi-crystalline structure, make it the most suitable plastic used in the food packaging industry.

  • The unique advantage of this material is its lightness. It is the lightest among the plastics used in packaging.
  • It is a type of plastic with medium hardness and transparency.
  • It is highly resistant to chemical agents.
  • It has high thermal treatment resistance.
  • It is a good water vapour barrier.
  • It is suitable for use in Pasteurization/Autoclave/Sterilization processes.
